Re: Fancy a thrilling 49 minute ride?

The article says it could travel from Sydney to London in 49 minutes, but could the passengers survive that long....

I think that's ridiculous that a SYD-LHR would only take 49 minutes, while getting to the airport, get out of the cab, standing on queue, check in, go trough screening, stop by duty free and wait for the aircraft for boarding, pushback and off you go, all that takes longer than 49 minutes. The day modern travel will reduce the time from stepping into the airport to boarding the aircraft, I will impressed.

The craft if ever build will be for military purpose, not for civil aviation...

"After the launch, the Falcon will dislodge from the rocket, speed back towards earth, level out and glide above the Pacific at 20 times the speed of sound.

It is then expected to crash and sink near Kwajalein Atoll, about 6400 kilometres from Vandenberg, about 30 minutes after the launch."
