Re: The Virgin Atlantic Thread

Didn't realize VA operated the smaller routes... when did they stop? (sorry if that was posted in the reading). Anyway, Great read! Seemed to sum up their history very well.

Re: The Virgin Atlantic Thread

Before you start confusing people, VA is Virgin Australia, VS is Virgin Atlantic.

VS operated LHR-ATH for a while using an A321.

Re: The Virgin Atlantic Thread

They also had A320 EI-VIR/G-OUZO for a few years. Plus, don't forget Virgin Sun's bright yellow A320s used on European flights.

Cheers Andrew The 747's have came from mainly Virgin Atlantic sales. The other white livery is a 100 series I picked up on ebay.

The 747-200 in Virgin Grey livery is on model from a set of two, I found this on on its own again on ebay. Still looking for the set of two.

Yeahh, you won't think Virgin would have operated these types of routes. The last venture to Athens with an Airbus A321 started in 2000 and was finished during 2001.

The IATA's are a little confusing, but here they are:

Virgin Atlantic: VS
Virgin America: VX
V Australia: VA

Virgin Australia is completely different, thats: DJ

Hey!
Your diorama airport has a lot of potential!
An adhesive backdrop on that wall would make it look amazing!!!
Looking forward to your next steps
