Re: AA Crash in Jamaica

I hope all passengers and the crew would be fine and wish the injured passeners a fast recovery... I think the aviation industry must in future be more prepared to face lot of unexpected storms and extremy bad weather conditions, since with he faster global warming we also might face more and more extrem weather events as unexpected storms or sudden temperature changes after unexpected hot or cold weather fronts

I think it has been confirmed now that there were no casualties, only minor injuries which is good news.

Give it up with that global warming crap already. Storms happen all the time, sounds like pilot error and not "global warming". Where were all the hurricanes we were supposed to get after Katrina?

Give us a break, will you? Stop drinking the 'global warming' Kool-Aid !

I think all of these hacked emails have helped to question the validity of this entire climate conference in Copenhagen. Only a fool would buy into this global warming/earth is melting crap !

I didn's say this crash was caused by global warming, but I said global warming creates more and more extrem weather conditions, which will have an effect on flying, since we will have more and more sudden weather events... that's why aviation industry must prepare the crews and the systems to react better by extrem conditions, since in few years stroms over atlantic might be very unexpectable...some systms might have problems by sudden extrem weather changes from a hot sunny day to an cold extremly windy storm within hours, specially those instruments outside the plane which have to measure velocity etc might need to be adapted to resisit extrem conditions and deliver correct result, pilots and crews must also be prepared to face sudden extrem sturms etc....

and by the way if the globalw arming is a crap, I wonder that the leader of almost 200 nations have a meeting in Copenhagen on it... I didn't know that UN, 200 world leaders, lot of scientists etc all just would come from all over the world to talk about crap....

More and more More and more ICEBERGS are visibily moving away through melting from south pol, in Central Europe in countries like Switzerland or Austria glaciers are visibliy shrinking, in USA and Australia there are more and more forest fires cuz of longer warm dry periodes, in Africa more and more regions have less and less water, in Atlantic we have more and more extrem weather conditins and all statisitcs show that average global temperatures are growing..........

global warming makes the weather less stable, that mean sudden weather events like a extrem warm summer or a sudden extrem snow front can happen in same region.... and there are lot of unknown risks, like the mehtan in the oceans, which under continuing of global warming could also come out to athmospher

but I guess there are still people sround which would start to realize it, when humanity would disapear from this planet

If you're wondering why 200 countries are meeting in Copenhagen? Take a look at this and it will explain. A picture says a thousand words. Has nothing to do with climate change.

The earth has experienced much more extreme climate change than we have ever experienced. You know we are still coming out of an ice age don't you? Glaciers do contract. That polar bear is cute isn't he? You know the polar bear population is growing. More polar bears, more polar bear flatulence. Oops! That's not good!

once again..I didn't say this plane crashed cuz of global warming, I said in long therm weather events caused by global warming will be a challenge for aviation industry...if you again and again would have to face sudden weather hanges, unexpected storms etc... crews and systems must face new conditions in long therm

Re: AA Crash in Jamaica

Hey Captain, do you know what the #1 cause of polar bear deaths is RIGHT NOW?

Not Global Warming...

Not pollution...

Not other polar bears...

IT'S HUNTING!!! If you want to save the polar bear, start talking to the Eskimos and other Arctic dwellers
