787 in All Nippon colors

I seen this on A.net

I personally think the 787 is ugly. The A380 and 787 are just 2 aircraft that will not grow on me...

It kinda looks like an extended Embraer. Anyone know where ANA's flying em?

Re: 787 in All Nippon colors

Hmm....im not so sure that livery suits the 787, but then again that's only my opinion. But I do think the 787 is a gorgeous aircraft lol. And its quite unique compared to most aircraft..

Did you know (THIS IS TRUE) that the B767 is actually LESS efficient than the B767?

Yuck and yuck IMO... I detest the aircraft, and I dislike the livery on that aircraft, ANA have some awesome liveries mind, I think that they should design another livery for the first B787.

I will be looking forward to the Monarch colour scheme on the B787... hopefully, they can pull a new and more attractive livery out of the hat... but not likely .

Matt

Re: 787 in All Nippon colors

I think we can all agree that the Virgin Atlantic livery will look insanely awesome on the 787? I honestly can't wait

Re: 787 in All Nippon colors

I agree

BUT

Personally I think that Virgin's 2004 livery would be better looking on the 787 rather then the newer livery

Some liveries may look odd or need to be revised as 787 engine cowlings apparently have to be white or grey. Something to do with Boeings 'streamlined' paint.

Are you sure you are not getting confused with the Rolls Royce Trent 1000 "combed" cowling on the rear of the engine? And streamlined paint... this is something I MUST research.
Besides, wouldn't it be a light colour (like grey/white) to reflect sunlight, which in turn increases efficiency of the aircraft and it's engines.
