The Royal Norfolk Regiment sadly amalgamated with the Suffolk Regiment in 1959, despite stella service just as recently as Korea. Nothing gets me more mad than Army cutbacks and the lose of regimental history and names. Thousands of Men died for the colours of the D.L.I, Ox & Bucks and the Glosters and now they are nothing more than the "The Rifles", disgusting!
