Was On Jetphotos.net, and came accross this!
JetPhotos.Net Photo » F-GZNC (CN: 35542) Air France Boeing 777-328ER by Pascal MAILLOT Is that a near tail strike or is it only like this because of the way the photo was taken? Anyways very cool photo, thought some of you may like to see it? |

Re: Jetphotos.net Air France Takeoff photo
It's the location. If you look carefully, you can tell that the concreted area is beyond the aircraft and the the runway in which the aircraft took off from is actually out of view of the camera. That's the way I see it anyway.

Rammstein, I agree with you, I believe the runway is out of view, and there is a hill before or after the aircraft in the line of sight.

At this point of rotation, the anti-strike mechanism on the tail would already be producing sparks and debris.
