Wings900 Next A380 Routes?

Hi
I am just wondering what the next A380 routes will be?

In the future can we see these by Qantas:

SYD-HKG-LHR
SYD-SIN-LHR
SYD-BKK-LHR
MEL-HKG
MEL-LAX
SYD-SFO

and maybe these by SIA?

SIN-HKG
SIN-HKG-SFO
SIN-MEL
SIN-PEK

And maybe these by EK??

Dubai-LHR
Dubai-SYD-Auckland
Dubai-HKG
Dubai-SIN
Dubai-Tokyo?

Could anyone confirm these, or tell me others?

Thanks

Re: Next A380 Routes?

I'm pretty sure that MEL-LAX already exists.

Re: Next A380 Routes?

I have heard of DXB-LHR, not 100% though. Can't see SIN-HKG, it is very short for an a380!

Re: Next A380 Routes?

After the Emirates show off at SFO, I don't think you can see any A380 in SFO soon as SQ will downgrade the current 744 on SIN<=>HKG<=>SFO route to 773ER by Jan 12, 2009 instead of upgrade it to A380 as everyone thought...so for those SFO spotters, try to catch the lat SQ 744 if you can...

[Now confirmed] SQ 1/2 downgraded to 777-300ER?!?!
[Now confirmed] SQ 1/2 downgauged to 777-300ER?!?! - SQTalk

Where is the A380 flying to next?
Where is the A380 flying to next? - SQTalk

SQ management decided to downsize the 744 was way back in Jul / Aug time frame which they encounter the light loading on both 1st & Business Class due to the shift of the passengers to CX & Jet Airways, then the financial hits the states would even trigger SQ management not to flying 744 across the pacific except SQ12/11 still doing high yields on LAX & SQ26/25 in JFK...

& the latest rumour was stating SIA wll only considering to deploy its A380 to Haneda but not to HKG...!
airline route updates: SIA considers 777 or 380 to Tokyo Haneda

So does this mean no airline is planning A380 routes to HKG? Or will Qantas fly them on a SYD/MEL-HKG-LHR service?

As of now, no airline plans to use the A380 to HKG.

The A380 routes from now up to around Feb 09 are:

SQ
SIN-SYD-SIN
SIN-LHR-SIN x 2
SIN-NRT-SIN

EK
DXB-JFK-DXB
DXB-LHR-DXB

QF
MEL-LAX-MEL
SYD-LAX-SYD
SYD-SIN-LHR-SIN-SYD

The guys at heathrow are so lucky - pretty soon all 3 a380 operators are gonna be flying there
