CX Asia's world Livery...

mentioned this a few times, how CX b-hoy (current 744 asia's world livery) is being converted to a 744BCF. From what I've heard, one of the 77W's is going to get a special livery, i've heard its asia's world or spirit of hong kong. i've also heard its going to be the 5th or 6th 77W, B-KPE or B-KPF. I think this is it: B-KPF (photo by matt cawby, skyline photography)

http://microvoltradio.com/images/kpae2299.jpg

still not sure which one it's going to be, asia's world or SOHK, but from the little bit of it that's painted (next to horizantal stabilizers), it's dark green (could be either), with a medium green stripe (asia's world). anyone have more pictures?

after making my eyes go like this for several minutes...i could not even differentiate that little painted (?) spot from a reflective aluminum surface.

Apart from the bit on the tail, the aircraft does not seem to be painted, just aluminium?

it's a spot of dark green (same as current asia's world).

so, if it is to be the asia's world scheme, pls. refer to this picture:

Photos: Boeing 747-467 Aircraft Pictures | Airliners.net

from what my eyes see, there is a spot of paint right in front (towards the nose) of the horizontal stabilizer. that spot is dark green(b-hoy's base color), with a lighter stripe (possibly the top or bottom stripe in picture of b-hoy) running through it. placement of stripes will inevitably be different, as the 77W and 744 are different planes. see it now?

A special painting on the 773? Okay, that would be nice!
I think Cathay could invent some special scheme on one of their freighers!

No, that's actually a B744F/SCD with registration B-HUP. There's is likely or probably that The BHOY will wear the Silver Bullet chrome scheme.

Cathay Cargo has already 6 -400BCF's and the BHOY will be its seventh -BCF and another one is ordered !

That shown in the picture is a B747-400F not the 200. The 742 has the registration B-HIH.

I made a typo, I quickly edited my post. Inded HIH is the 200.

Re: CX Asia's world Livery...

I'm not quite sure if that is a painted piece of the aircraft near the vertical stabilizers. Because there is an indent the metal might be a different shade and also it could be a different lighting effect.

Something to note though is that the windows that have been blocked out appear a dark green.
