Second question is a fun one. What is the only airline to fly to Easter Island 2000 miles from any body of land off Chile?
Man where did everyone go? Christmas shopping?

What setting are the flaps supposed to be at during takeoff on a Boeing 737?

a. 10 degrees
b. 1 degree
c. 5 degrees
d. None of the above

C'mon... I know you can do this Wahoo!

For a 737, 5 Degree's Same for the 727. Thats my guess. Correct? Or totally wrong?

Well Captain, I have an answer for your wx question...
If it's ANYTHING like it is here in good ole 'Skansin, the correct answer is "Expect ANYTHING" - and I betcha that's gonna be VERY close to the correct answer

As to asking the Capt what the flap settings are, you could go for something at least a LITTLE harder, say maybe like how LONG the flaps are, or the length of the trailing edge?

Flap settings on large aircraft have alot to do with weight, weather conditions and field length. The pilots usually reference a book with those parameters worked into it. Never having flown a 737 I would guess the D would be the answer and 5-15 degrees is the correct answer.

What's up my northern brother. You're answer is pretty close. Just about anything can happen up here eh? There is a better answer. I flew into ESC every morning and seen it a million times. Well, maybe 900,000 times.

Let's see if the other guys will read the question. Look back aboot 9 posts back to see the question. Let's see what our resident smart guy Kardar has to say.

When rotateing outward, what degree should you nose up? 10, 20, 30, 40, or 50 degrees?

D'? When you have a word that ends in "e" such as rotate, when adding "ing" you must drop the "e". i.e. rotating. See?
