Hi Everyone,
Welcome to the first
Wings900
family newsletter! First up: some news (appropriately enough).
To
expand the resources available to our members, the Wings900 family (Wings900.com,
DiecastAircraftForum.com,
Scale600.com,
ModelAirports.net
and DiecastWings.net)
are announcing the formation of a partnership with Toy Collector (www.ToyCollector.com).
The success of our model database, collection system and discussion
forums will
be expanded in the upcoming months to include new sources for news,
users and
data.
The Toy Collector mission is to
build the ultimate site for collectors the world over - one which combines
discussion forums, news (more about Toy Collector's reports on the Nuremberg Toy
Fair later), blogs, galleries, videos, competitions and more to provide the most
complete collecting experience on the web - no matter if it is toys, models, or
diecast. Additionally the site has ToyPedia, an unparalleled wiki-based
encyclopedia that will ultimately contain information about every toy and model
ever made and a marketplace dedicated to collectibles. The site will also
feature a collection management system and filtering technology to allow users
to set their site preferences to only see content that is related to their
interests. So if all you want to see are 1/500 scale planes or only Boeing 737s,
then you'll be able to make that happen!
So take a seat, fasten your
seatbelt, and enjoy the ride!
Now let's take a look at what's
been happening over the last month...
