			<title>Merry Month of May</title>
			<link>http://www.wings900.com/cms/content/view/32131/</link>
			<description>April showers bring May MODELS?!?!?

Well, it is Spring and the Wings900 team has finally come out of hibernation.... Or almost as we are busy behind the scenes keeping the Wings900 family THE reference when it comes to independent diecast aircraft collectors sites.

Flight Director has been very busy moving the sites to new, more powerful servers where we now have more speed and space for all our model STUFF. He is also busy updating everything under the sun and making sure we are here when you log in.

Waffle has been busy digging up collections and offering them to our members first before putting them on eBay. With an acute nose for good deals, you have to be HERE in order to take advantage of them. The latest find is simply huge and will make very many collectors happy. His DB team (including British Airways and Faucett Peru) have been keeping the model database as up-to-date as possible.

N1786B has been busy surfing and hunting down airline and manufacturer logos. Have you seen the number of logos available lately? We have added over 300 so far this year and are about to reach 5,000 logos! He has also been active helping users and newbies use the Wings900 family of web sites.

We will also be at the May 17th DUS Wings Börse in Düsseldorf Germany. So if you can, come by and see us!

			<title>AirlineMuseum.com is having a March Madness Model Giveaway!</title>
			<link>http://www.wings900.com/cms/content/view/32111/</link>
			<description>

Want to win one of these models:

AirlineMuseum.com is having a March Madness Giveaway! During a recent cleaning of the warehouse we found some items we didn&amp;#39;t know we had. Some of these models were long ago discontinued, others were single Herpa Wings Club models, so instead of just putting them on the website, we decided to offer them as part of a special giveaway! All you have to do is place an order anytime during the month of March and you will be automatically entered into the drawing. Each order you place counts as an entry, so the more you order, the better your chances! At the end of March, we will randomly draw five names and each of the winners will receive one of the prize models. The drawing will be completed and winners notified the first week of April. Good luck to all.

Here are the prize models:

StarJets 1:500 Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-400 - This model was discontinued about four years ago, and is one of a very few 1:500 scale Virgin Atlantic models. The value of this model has been reported as high as $60.00.

Herpa 1:500 Aloha Airlines Boeing 737-700 - This model has been discontinued for nearly five years so it is a rare find. The value of this model has been reported as high as $22.00.

Herpa 1:500 SAS Scandinavian Airlines DC-8-55 - This is the special free model for Herpa Wings Club members from 2006. There were only 2300 of this model made and its value has been reported as high as $50.00.

C C 1:500 Qantas Boeing 747-400 Formula One - This is a very rare model and only 200 were ever made by the short-lived C C Models. It features the Formula 1 colors and comes in a nice padded box.

Herpa 1:500 Uzbekistan Airways Ilyushin IL-62 - This is the special free model for Herpa Wings Club members from 2007. There were only 2300 of this model made and its value has been reported as high as $50.00.

			<title>Christmas Show in Düsseldorf</title>
			<link>http://www.wings900.com/cms/content/view/32090/</link>
			<description>

Known around the world for their Christmas Markets, our collecting friends in Germany held their first ever Christmas Market dedicated to diecast aircraft.

With 27 tables in the departure hall of the magnificent D&amp;uuml;sseldorf International airport, collectors from around Europe came together to enjoy collecting, get an exclusive sneak preview of Herpa&amp;#39;s upcoming releases (including an Air Berlin NC 737 (http://www.wings900.com/vb/attachments/forum1/4728d1197787639-ab-b738.jpg)). Check out the thread here (http://www.wings900.com/vb/1-500-scale-discussion/32907-herpa-leaks-new-releases.html).

Not only that, we were able to take advantage of this great airport, with plenty of good food, coffee, and a dedicated observation deck for spotting.

For more pictures of the show, click here (http://www.wings-boerse-dus.com/Bilder/20071215/index.html).

The Wings900 family was present at the show and we would like to thank the organizers of the show along with the airport.

The next Wings-B&amp;ouml;rse-DUS is scheduled for May 17th from 9AM-3PM.
