Model Review
Mould and Assembly: Old news: the 737-3 mould from Herpa is certainly not their best mould. I have said it before, the nose and the front gear look terrible. Herpa keeps improving, in a lot of other areas. Why can't they fix this badly shaped mould? With the development of a new one Herpa will not be losing money. The 737-series will still be around for a long long time, a lot of models still to be made. The 737-3 deserves to get into better shape.

Livery: Wow. Just everything said in one word. Nothing wrong with this beautifull livery. I could argue about some very small, tiny details left out, colours that might (or might not) be a shade off. But I will not. Because this livery is one of the best I have ever seen from Herpa. Detailed and with window frames. This gets close to a real piece of art.

Details: I am missing some details on the nose (but I like that they didn't gave it the white nosecone, as the plane used to have at some point in time). I think the wings are lacking some "realness", something I complained about before with Herpa models. Further, the cockpit-windows are slightly misplaced, but that could be also be because of the swollen nose of the model. And lastly, of course, the gears. It should be possible by now to make them smaller!

I can't get over the hideous mould. The livery is really stunning, well done by Herpa. This could have been such a wonderfull model. But the mould makes it bad. Why should you waste a beautifull livery like this on a bad mould?
