| | Mould and Assembly: Along with more models from the Herpa Wings line this Boeing 747-400 also has a mould issue. It is too fat and. The body should be shrink a little to make it more realistic. Also the 747 gear is far from real. It looks very toyish compared to the real main gear of this aircraft. It is possible to get better gears, as Inflight500 for example proved it.
Livery: This livery is one of the plusses of this model. The new colours of Qantas are very accurate added to this model and the seem to be okay. The colours are fine as well. However that's not too difficult as this plane is black and red only.
Details: After the A320 mould improvements I am still wondering when Herpa will start adding more details on its planes. Because this plane only gets the basic details like the prefixes 'Longreach' in the front, its registration, the Australian flag, Boeing 747-400 titles below the windows and some cargo doors. Many important details as prefixes EB on the front gear, the Oneworld logo's next to the doors and some lights on the roof of the model will make it look way better then just a very very white model.
