Description

This model and livery are on their way to becoming a "fantasy". All things currently concerning Northwest Airlines as well as the Boeing 787 still carry a big question mark. After months-long negotiations, Northwest Airlines announced its merger with the third-largest airline, Delta Air Lines, to become the world’s largest airline. Shareholders and the antitrust authority, however, still have to approve the deal. It is alsouncertain when Boeing will be able to deliver the „Dreamliner“. Due to the production of individual components for the 787 being farmed out worldwide, there have been repeated delivery problems.

| Model Review
| | Mould and Assembly: The fuselage mould is awful. The nose is way off and the cockpit windows are too small.
Livery: The livery appears correct, but there seems to be too much glitter in the model as photographed. This has been noted in other reviews of Herpa's NWA livery.
Details: The cockpit windows are wrong being too small. The passenger window row and doors are too high on the fuselage. The windows should be in line with the tail plane and the tail plane should bisect the rear door. Thw wings and engines seem to be correct and without noticible error as well as the gear.
