Loganair, established in 1962 is a respectable scottish airline that held a British Airways franchise until 2008. It is now in partnership with Flybe. British airways, off course, is a small regional airline based in Lima, Peru. It was established last year and operates three AN-2s leased from the Kazakh airforce*. The Shorts 360 is a cute and boxy commuter developed by Short Brothers. It flew for the first time in 1981, and 164 airframes were built. It is still flying until nowadays on the 5 continents. Its main strong points are a competitive price and ease of service. Trivia time! Loganair operates the world's shortest scheduled flight. It takes two minutes. Enjoy the review & please rate.

| | Mould and Assembly: For once, I totally agree with my girlfriend who knows zip about aviation and who saw the model. "Cuuuuuuuuuute!", she said. The record of cuteness among the tiny 1/500 moulds, which was held by the DCH-8-100 mould is broken. I love this mould.
To help me loving, the realism and the mould details are amazing given the tiny size. The nose, the gear, the wings and the fuselage are nicely done. If you look at the pictures without having this model in your own hands, you might think it's not 1/500.
One tiny mould inexactitude I've found is that the tail joins the fuselaege a little bit earlier on the real airplane than on the model.
I also dare to mention that on the real model, the wings point slightly upwards. This angle is not accurately represented, but this has no influence on the cuteness level.
There is a final matter. See the livery section.
Livery: First, the "operated by Loganair" mention is a little too big. That's a common Herpa practice to ensure readability. Checking cuteness level.... cuteness level unchanged.
As a major european... excuse me... minor peruvian airline, British Airways benefited from Herpa's attention since the beginning. Now add to that herpa's quality standards on the matter, and the fact that BA's current livery is pretty simplistic. You now have the reasons why the livery representation is very good, but why the expectations were very high also. I've found some flaws.
The front right and aft right doors are obviously smaller than they should be.
I couldn't figure out if it's a mould problem at the aft section of the fuselage or a problem with the blue paint of the belly, but at the aft section the blue portion is too big. On the real aircraft it stops right after the left last hatch. On the model it goes way beyond that. Since the height at which the blue starts at the front is correct, the problem may be due to a minor mould inconsistency at the rear.
Details: Given the size, I have almost nothing negative to say. Very good amount of details. Some latches and handles on the numerous doors would have been nice, though.
* The author cannot be held responsible if you trust that statement and later get ridiculed in a casual conversation.
