Part VII - GSE and Accessories |
| Manufacturers and Information |
You may have the longest runways, the most incredible and expansive terminals, but with out GSE (Ground Service Equipment) to assist the aircraft, your flights are going no where! GSE is hard to come by, only few manufacturers offer sets. However it is becoming more popular and we are bound to see additional sets hit the market soon.

Herpa - The leader in 1:500 scale accessories and GSE. Herpa offers 15 different types of accessory packs from fuel tanks and jetways, to GSE and communication towers. Recently Herpa has been expanding their accessories every two months. 1:500 accessories also work well with 1:400 aircraft. |

Gemini Jets - Has produced one set of GSE and one set of jetways, both in 1:400 scale. |
PPC |
PPC manufactured 10 piece sets of GSE for 1:200 scale aircraft. They come unpainted and included catering truck, tow hook, tugs, baggage carts and conveyor etc. The GSE is a bit large and seems to fit 1:44 scale a bit better. |

Select aircraft come with a piece of ground equipment. GSE includes baggage equipment, stairs, catering truck etc. Two sets of GSE were released in Hawaiian colors, however due to the lack of demand from consumers no further GSE will be produced by Jet-X |

Dragon Wings has recently nearly a half dozen various sets of GSE. They are in basic colors to suit any airport and contain moveable parts to better fit the aircraft. |
Pixelport |
Set to be unveiled at the 2002 Toy Fair, Pixelport claims to be manufacturing the most detailed GSE yet. We'll just have to wait and see! | |
