The entire collection of FAA documents can be found at the The FAA airport planing website, however we have picked a few of those documents that are most likely to help you in getting your airport running.

Terminal Design

Ground Markings

  • Airport Markings Part 1 (pdf) - Width, touch down marking placement, number dimensions and shape, taxiway and runway extensions/approach markings, runway edging, hold markers and more.
  • Airport Markings Part 2 (pdf) - Taxiway crossings, hold positions, gate identification, surface markers, apron entrance, taxiway shoulder, vehicle roadways, closed runway & taxiways.

Runway/Taxiways
