| What
Herpa Says... |

The engines carry the "Boeing 727" Logo on the side... |
Up into the
eighties the Boeing 727-200 was one of the "high
performance" aircrafts serving the European destinations.
More quiet, efficient and more comfortable Jets have now taken
over its place in the Lufthansa - Fleet.
A new highlight in "aircraft-construction" is the
Boeing 727-200, which is now part of the Lufthansa Modell
Edition - Fleet. The detailed paintings for construction of
the mould were transfered with modern CAD/CAM equipment. The
computer-supported construction and production allows higher
precision in looks and size.

| What
We Say... |
|

Go ahead, knock on
the door and pretend your the catering truck!
|
Compared to the Premium
Series Delta 727, this model has more details making
extremely realistic. The engines are extremely realistic, as
are the printed details on the wings. The tail has the antenna
coming off the back, and the back of the fuselage even has a
tail skid in the deployed position.
The Boeing 727 has a special place in airliner history, and
while its usage is becoming limited as new and more efficient
jet liners become available, it is with out a doubt that this
model will be talked about in years to come. If one is torn
between the DL 727 and LH 727, we give the nod to the LH.
|
|
| Pros
|
Abundant
amount of details; beacon lights are colored plastic; front
landing gear doors are printed; engines are extremely
realistic.
|
| Cons
|
Hard
to find any, but if we had to say anything it would be the
lack of a hanger!
