So here we are, a new look, new name, and a new mission. The all new Wings900 has arrived! The new flight crew has officially taken over and have been busy over the past few months reviewing models, updating the site, & building new servers & databases.
Shortly you will begin to see a change here at Wings900, our mission is to bring the die-cast collector the most detailed and up-to-date information. Not only will you see mode reviews, interviews with manufacturers, but we are also working on an searchable database of model related internet sites. The code is 100% finished, and the system is expected to go online in January 2002. If that wasn't enough we will also have a few "BIG" surprises, but that is all we can say for now.
A bit about our new name, as many of you are probably wondering where it came from. The site was originally Wings500, the 500 coming from the scale of most model die-cast aircraft. Recently, 1:400 scale models have entered the market. To show our support for both scales 1:400 + 1:500 = Wings900! Don't worry we support all other scales as well! While our URL has changed, you can still access us at www.wings500.com or at www.wings900.com.
